Trim hydraulic hose replacement?

Just got my 93 4.3L V6 Yamaha inboard engine out of the water this evening and couldn't trim the leg up at all. Once I got around back and looked at it I noticed a hydraulic hose is totally bulging at the connection and the most probably reason why I can't trim it up at all. My question is how easy is it to replace one of these hoses and do most boat shops carry something like this? I have attached a picture for reference. It looks like they could be threaded but I am not 100%

Anyone familiar with a set of spanners can do the change quickly, however remember to chock the leg so it doesn't drop once you have cracked the hose fittings. I used a mobile hydraulic hose mob to replace mine but specified stainless fittings.

Re: Trim hydraulic hose replacement?

So I got the hose out myself but have now found that a replacement part is pretty hard to come by for that year and was sent on a wild goos chase around town with people telling me a number of different companies can custom make these hoses for me only to get there to find out they don't. ONe said they could fit it but wasn't aluminum or stainless steel and the connector would rust which doesn't sounds good seeing as its going to be in water most of the time. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get one of theses hoses made up? Can other type with the same size threads work?

Yes, as long as its the same type of fitting, it'll work.
