Trim Guage

My trim guage isnt working. Guage is stuck on 1/4. Every thing else works fine...controls and buttons concernng the tilt/trim and trailer are working fine and the lower unit is doing what it is told....just guage stuck. This is the only problem I have had in 6 seasons with this boat and it was bought new. 19 foot open bow aquatron with a 4.3 LX Merc. Is there a fuse maybe or is the guage shot?<br /><br />Brian

Pull the connections off the back of the guage...clean them and re-install. Locate the sending unit and hit it with lots of WD-40 and work it back and forth. After 6 years the corrosion factor comes into question. Try that first.<br /><br />Bob
