Trim Guage '06 Yam 225HPDI Ranger Z19

Motor has no problems with tilt and trim. Trim guage is at high end and barely moves. Where/how do I check at motor and guage to determine what's wrong? Refer me to links with diagrams? started 6/11/2010. Any help appreciated greatly. Can provide email address if needed.

check the trim sender cam.
its a small plastic ring about the center of the tilt tube.
if its broken replace it with the new style metal one.
thats what usually happens.

Rodbolt - Thanks a million. I got lucky - found a photo of trim sender cam for Yam 150. Found mine. yes it's plastic, yes it's cracked, and yes with the power on I can make the guage work just fine. You really made a not so good day a whole lot better. Will replace myself. You da' man!!!
