Question for Whoever, what happens when you, stupidly, put a half oz of trim fluid in the gear lube reservoir before you realize you are messing up?

Ayuh,..... It's easy enough to remove the hose from the bottom of the bottle, pull, 'n clean the bottle, then reinstall, 'n refill it with gear lube,.....

Probably a good idea anyways, as sludge forms in the bottom of the bottle over time, 'n needs to be cleaned out occasionally,.....

Thanks thats what I think also, it would be easy to pump all the lube in the reservoir out and refill, haven't ran the boat since my blunder but I don't think I'm going to worry about it?

Doubt it will make much diff or this lube even get to the outdrive, but I use a turkey baster for things like this- suck the reservoir dry. Every couple years I use it to change out my trim fluid - suck it out and refill, run it up and down, refill etc
