Could anyone let me know how to connect a trim gauge to merc outboard.<br /><br />Does the signal come from the trim/tilt switch at the controls, or is there a seperate signal from the motor
Signal comes from a trim sending unit on the outboard itself. Normally its mounted inside the transom brackets. Since yours does not have a gage now you may not have a sending unit installed on the engine.
