Replacing my Trim Cylinders.
Removed old ones w/o taking note which hose goes where on the "manifold: underneath the transom assembly.
In the pic below it shows the short lines connecting to the fwd ports on the manifold.

Can't upload the pic

Also, is this system self bleeding?
How can I tell if I have any water in the system?

The holes in the manifold 'align' with the ram. Front hole in the manifold goes to the front hole in the ram. Bleeding procedure is in the manual, but basically just trim it up and down a few times. Water in the fluid will turn the fluid bright pink.

Installed replacement cylinders tonight..........fairly easy job.
Looked at the fluid in the reservoir and it was bright pink.........only good thing is there was hardly anything in there.
Soaked up what I could, plan on filling w/ fresh fluid and give a try depending on the weather tomorrow!.
