Trim Cyl removal .. 1980 Merc V6 150hp

SOrry guys but I have looked and searched the whole net and cant find any info..

I have a 1980 Merc Black Max 150hp with the single ram in the transom assembly.. I have the lines and transom assembly removed as well as the trim senders ..


My problem is there is a large pin in the top of the ram that has a big slot (like a big foot flat head screwdriver lol) in it that connects the ram to the engine. I cant budge this thing.. Is it a speacial tool that is needed or is it a drive in pin..?? THanks for the help/

Is this the setup you have on your ram?

If so you will see that item 23, shaft is held in with Trilobe pin 11 which has to be removed before you can withdraw the shaft.
