I have a '92 Merc 115 and at some point during the season last year, I lost my trim anode. I'm not sure if this coincides, but I also found that I didn't have a good of a hole shot as I used to. Does the trim anode have an affect on the hole shot?

No, but you might check your prop to see if it was damaged when it fell off.

The trim tab is used to help "counter-steer" an engine that pulls in a given direction. Good luck!

Re: Trim anode

Thanks for the help. It was late october in Wisconsin late I started noticing the poorer hole shot. Hopefully, it was just a matter of not letting my motor warm up long enough. We were having fairly cold mornings at that point of the season. I'll know for sure when I get the boat back out on the water this year.
