My trim and tilt is being finicky to say the least on a 98 50hp. It seemed to be fine but yesterday it locked up. I left and came back to show someone and it was working. Did the same thing today and wouldn't work. My brothers philosophy is if it don't work beat it, but to my amazement it worked. Just tapping the trim motor made run again. Stopped again a little later, one little tap it worked again. What am I looking at here? Is the motor on its way out, or is it something simpler (cheaper)? Any advice would be great. Thanks.
