I take my 50 hp Tohatsu to baja inside the door of my motor home. I have been carrying it resting on the "pegs" behind the cover and the anti-cavitation plate (tiller up_) I recently heard I should be laying it on the non gear shift side. Who is right and why? Thanks.

Re: traveling with my outboard

If you can haul it in the upright position, that would be best. Otherwise, I think you have it right...
