Need to take my outboard to work with me without the boat for some repairs. Can I lay the outboard down on its side in the back of the car? I guess removing the plastic casing is a given.
Yes, it can be transported in just about ANY position since the only fluids are gas (which WILL leak out of the carbs) and the lower unit oil. You will be fine.
