Transom

Hey,<br /> I have recently bought a bass boat. With out a motor, my search has started. The transom measure's 20" but it has a set back transom. to the bottom of the boat it it 28", i've looked at many bass boats and none of the cavatation plates and below the bottom of the boat, PLEASE HELP. i want to find a motor soon!

Mucka 29,<br /><br />I'm sure your boat takes a 20" engine. The set back can be decieving. Bass boats tend to sit low in the stern. THe set back provides some lift when at rest.

hello a post as to make and nodel of boat would help. a call to the manufacurer may clear things up as well. most bass boats I played with are 20 with the set back from the planing pad<br />good luck and keep posting
