Transom saver for Shorelandr trailer

I am looking for input from guys that have transom savers on their shoreland'r roller trailers. I do not have a cross bar in the back. It is a ways forward and I don't think a transom saver will reach. Currently I put the tilt up and put down the bar and run the tilt down against it, but that puts a lot of pressure on the transom when towing on these bumpy WI roads. I found a few posts from a few years back about guys using a certain saver, but the links to them are no longer any good. I tried to PM one of the guys but for some reason I cannot PM anybody.

I have a shorelandr' roller trailer without a crossbar. The only crossbar I had was the bar that tilts the rollers. I used the transom saver that was similar to this one:

It works great, but because of my motor's skeg, I had to use a different chord to hold the motor lower unit. My trailer holds my 14' Lund.

More info and pics of your trailer may be helpful, but this transom saver is universal.

This one is made by Attwood, works great on my dad's Shoreland'r.

I also use one on my Karavan trailer.

I have a ShorelandR trailer and I purchased one of the transom savers others have noted (with the bend in it) and it works great even with the crossbar 12" (or more) under the boat.
Very strong and easy to get on and off.
My Mercury 1150 does not have power trim so this bar was a necessity. Saves wear and tear on the transom and supports the motor really well.
