Hello,

I am fitting a new steering system no my boat and need to drill a hole at the side of the transom for the steering cable to go through. Problem is I am trying to find one of the rubber sleeves that you fit to the transom and feed the cables through to stop too much splash water getting through into the boat if reversing etc.

I do not know what these are called and cannot find any online with google - can anyone help?

Thanks

Try the Mega Mall, click the tab on the Iboatweb page, them go to engine rigging, then go to cable boots

If it's easier, you can pick-up a CV boot for a front-wheel drive car - they even come in cool colors!
