Ahoy!

I need the handles that are mounted to each side of the transom of a 62 Dorsett Catalina cuddy cabin 16 footer. These handles finish the ends of the side rub rail. I could also use about 2 feet of the white vinyl rub rail from where the deck joins the hull. I am a cash buyer in Indiana. Thanks! ;)

Gotta love those Dorsetts. I have a 1958 Catalina, and it's a great fishing machine. What do you power yours with? I don't know what the max recommended HP is for those hulls.

I have a 1961 Evinrude 75 HP on the boat. I love the chrome and detail of this motor. I will have her in the water for the first time in 30 years this wekend. Wish me Luck!

I too need one of the transom caps (the starboard side). Perhaps we could get one of our co-Catalina mates to offer to remove their starboard-side cap and put it in something that could be used as a mold? It could even be a latex/rubber mold. We could finance their endeavor and pay shipping for the mold. We could then mold that part with a hard plastic (or something). Remember these are only cosmetic and not structural. If we locate such a kind person, I will do the same with my port-side cap and we will be looking good.
