Transom Engine Bracket Mounting

I'm just about done with the rebuild of my 94 21' ProLine. I have replaced and closed in the transom to mount the used bracket I bought. Does anyone know the formula for how much to raise the engine for each foot of setback. My bracket's setback is 30".

i think 1 inch per foot. but don't call me if i'm wrong.

Ya, That's what I was thinking also but, I had someone plant the thought that it was 2" in my mind and now I really want to make sure before I drill through the new transom.
