I'm in the process of changing the side rollers to bunks.
I am thinking about cutting a 4x8 (actually 2, 2x8's epoxied and screwed together) to match the curve of the bottom of the transom so that 90% of the transom is in contact with the bunk.
Am I being an over achiever and wasting a lot of effort??
This is an 18' tri-hull with a 115 and weighs some where around 2500#. The trailer has 4 roller down the keel and will have a 2x6" x 10' flat ways either side of the rollers supported every 4 feet and each end.
