When my 20 Kicker sets on the transom, it sets low to the point that the both T handle knobs won't make a complete turn while I'm trying to tighten it. They hit or bottom out on the aluminum flat part of the boat directly in front of the transom. I don't want to raise the motor, but was wondering how to get those two plastic T handles off of the screw down bolts so that I might tighten them with a wrench. Don't want to have to cut them down, but would like to keep them in their original condition. Any ideas? Thanks!!
