i was wondering.. my 16 foot lund big lakes has a 35 sittin on the back and the cavitation plate on the motor sits below the bottom of the boat about 3-4 inches.. i was wonder if i got a jack plate and boosted it up if it would give me less drag and more speed

Re: transom and cavitation plate

The cavation plate should be out of the water when running on plane or faster. If it is under the the water when not running check, it when you are running.

StillFishin'
