Tranom U bolts on 2007 Tracker Targa

I have a 2007 Tracker Targa 175 sport with a 115 Optimax. I took the kids out this past weekend for some tubing fun. I hooked the harness to the transom u bolts and we all had a blast. The only issue I had was that I think the U bolts are too low as the rope was pulled through the water. I've read the recommendations from the manufacturers that ski pylons are not recommended for towables and I want to install another set of U bolts higher on the transom. Can anyone tell me if there is any place on the transom that I should NOT put them?

It's a great idea to do some research. Please take note of the wind direction and have a long enough tow line.

Remember the kids don't need to breath ALL the exhaust.

If you can, try to get a ski bridle with a pulley and secure it to the stern cleats. That's what I do.
