tranny fluid?

A few weeks back I had water mixed with tranny fluid pushing out of the tranny dipstick hole...I have changed the tranny cooler and I don't know how much tranny fluid to put in . My manual does not say. I have a 1976 255 hp 350 chevy mercruiser with a TRS.. Help please...

They used a couple of marine gears with the TRS units so it's hard to tell can't you simply fill it

If its a Borg/Warner gear, it should be between the marks on the dipstick, with the fluid warm just after engine shut down..
