Tranducer and speedo question

Hi all

I am fitting a Lowrance x75 fishfinder, on the rear of my boat is a 4 inch wide tranducer mounting bracket, my fish finder also has a speedo one the ones where the wheel spins, what I want to know is can I mount the tranducer and the speedo side by side on my mounting bracket.

I don't know the answer for sure, but I'd be concerned about turbulence generated from the speedo affecting the transducer readings. You want smooth water over the transducer to minimize noise.

Yes you can. The paddle wheel is along side the transducer, not in front of it. My last three boats are set up that way.
