I use a transom saver on my outboard when trailering. After trailering I notice oil running down the engine on the outside cover of the shaft. Is this from a vent? When I check the oil there is no loss according to my dipstick.Anyone else have this problem?

You may have too much oil. It should be filled to the bottom hash mark on the dipstick. If you fill it to the top hash mark you will end up with too much oil due to fuel dilution.
