Re: Trailerable cover info ?
I just got a new trailerable cover for my boat this year. I did get one with a 4-5 year warranty but it still is not as good as getting a custom made cover fitted to the factory snaps.

I tie the cover down properly and use a centre support system to keep the cover tight while trailering which also keeps any rain from pooling. However when in motion on the highway the cover still flaps even though there is an elastic around the bottom to keep it tight and this flapping will cause some wear on decals or dull your shine. The worst part about the cover is that the black nylon tie down straps do vibrate with the wind and have rubbed against the hull leaving black marks. Not that I mind maintenance but this is a real pain removing the black.

Custom sewn covers fitted exactly to your boat is the way to go. Not the cheapest in the short run but they tend to last much better than the universal covers and are quicker and easier to snap on by one person in a hurry rather than fighting a big parachute in the wind by yourself.

Although for sitting in the driveway or at the dock, it does keep the moisture out of the boat. Thats why I use it. Untill next year maybe.

Good luck.
