Trailer up works,trim up doesnt

4.3 mercruiser,Alpha 1.Trim down works fine. Any trouble shooting I can do. Test light? Id like to pinpoint problem before I just start buying parts

start by inspecting the trim limit switch and wiring

Ayuh,... Agreed, Trim Limit Switch, the wires are rotten, 'n broken...
