Do you have a chain that controls the max tilt of the trailer? Make the wires long enough to allow for that and bungee cord them to the frame. When the trailer tilts the bungee cord will stretch to allow the wires to move with the tilt.

I have owned a few tilt trailers in my many years that came with the boats I purchased. Can honestly say, they are worthless....the tilt features were far more trouble than they were worth. Actually never knew anyone that thought they were useful and been boating for well over 60 years...

I guess you didn't meet me then. My first 2 boats had tilt trailers and i used them every time. Easiest way to launch. When they stopped making that design I switched to full rollers.

As far as the wiring goes, the wires should go down the centerline of the trailer, i.e. through the tongue. At the tilt bracket, when fully tilted the wires only need an inch or 2 extra length. Easy peasy.

If you look at a trailer with a swing tongue, the concept is the same.

I only used the tilt to hose down the flooring. Never had to launch or retrieve from mud flats or 1 foot of water.
