Trailer Trouble - to roll or not to roll?

I recently salvaged a derelict 18' fibreglass dinghy, and an equally tired trailer. I am now working on the trailer. Rust rust rust...

The dinghy was originally supported on thick laminated (carpet-covered!) plywood supports bolted to the trailer cross-beams. However, the ply rotted - and so did the steel underneath.

My question is - should I look at roller (4+ bow?) supports for the boat, or should I rebuild the ply frames (and perhaps risk more terminal rusting?) Any opinions?

Thanks in advance....

If the trailer is that rusted, I would sandblast it and then determine if it is even worth restoring. Epecially check the axle and springs.

If it is structurally sound, you can make new plywood supports. But, think about if you really need a new trailer.
