My boat I recently purchased hangs up a little when backing in the water. I have a normal size roller on it and can't really adjust it. What can I do to stop from damaging the hull?

Re: Trailer stop

Ah!, roller should be over boweye to help stop boat from climbing into vehicle in an emergency stop. Adjustments are needed. Edit: Pics would help

Re: Trailer stop

Just the nature of the beast I think, with that flared bow design.

If you can back the trailer in farther (and the launch ramp isnt at too big an angle), you can float the boat back over the bow stop instead of bringing the flare down on top of it and then back.
