Hi. I recently purchase a pontoon boat and a warlock trailer from US. I need a letter for the Canadian government stating that the warlock trailer has no recalls. They are looking for a Dealer stating no recalls with a company letter head with serial number and a managers signature. I would really appreciate any assistance, Thank you, Serge

trailer serial #: 1x9pt201xvs003063---year 2002

thesslsspirit,...

I know you've posted this question here before,..... Without results.......

Have you done as intrepid asks,.???....

Have you tried contacting Warlock Trailer co.,.???.....

Obviously,.... None of Us have Any Clue as to what you're needing,.....

In N.Y., and most other states,.... You can licence it as "Home-Made",..... With only a Safety Inspection,+ a Weight ticket.......

Re: TRAILER RECALL HELP PLEASE!!!!!

I know what he's talking about.

thesslsspirit, you need what's called a "letter of recall". You can request it from the trailer manufacturer (contact info below) and they will probably know what you need. Have your trailers VIN ready when you call - they'll need it.

In the event that they do not know what you need, here's what you need to tell them. You need a letter from them, on their letterhead that references your trailer (by serial number). It has to state the recal status of your trailer and there are two possibilities.

The first is that there are no outstanding recalls on your trailer. If this is the case, you're good to go. Ask them to send you the letter and you're golden.

The second scenario is that there is an outstanding recall on your trailer and that you still need to make the appropriate repairs. If this is the case, take the reailer to their nearest dealer (per their recomendation), have the repairs made and submit the reciept/work order for the repairs to the CDN fed's along with the letter of recall.

It's not hard at all.

Good luck
Nikko

WARLOCK TRAILER
1208 Route 146 • Clifton Park, NY 12065
(518) 371-7878
