We have had 2 different light kits on the trailer. Two different interrupt switches on vehicle. Still can't get passenger side turn signal and brake light to work. Works fine on truck and have put tester on interrupt switch. lights quit working between rear on truck and trailer...no power in interrupt...what causes this? Also caused light on outside-top of truck cab to quit. help please???

Re: Trailer lights

Most trailer light problems I've seen were bad grounds. Make sure you are passing ground through the connector and not depending on hitch/ball to make ground between the trailer and vehicle. White is the ground I believe. I had a short in one of my trailer light wires and traced it by using trolling battery as 12V source to check each light on the trailer. This took the tow vehicle out of the trouble shooting. Also, you could just get a test bulb to test the tow vehicle connector. I would start with he ground though.

BL...
