Trailer Lights no 4 cables will do

Hey guys,

Well I have a Ford van that it has a separate light for the brakes, so I had to add another cable to my trailer.

I will like to know what kind of Lights I can get, that they are SEALED, I don't want open lights that I have to disconnect when I load or unload the boat in the ramp, and lights that will let me use 1 cable for breaks and another for signaling.

Any ideas?

On cars that have extra lights you need to get a conveter for the CAR it will run the standard trailer lights correctly then

If you google "ford trailer light converter" there will be one that will plug right into the cars existing wireing

As far as lights i like the Wesbar units with sealed bulbs

LED lights are all the rage BUT most are low quality chinese units

etrailer.com will have what ya need

I put my trailer lights high on the guide-ons - they never get submerged.

I use the Wesbar also and the bulbs are really sealed. But I still unplug the trailer harness everytime I launch. Can't remember how many fuses I got blown, but when you dunk the trailer and all the wirings that come with it in water, in addition to the sealed bulds, anything can get grounded.

I just replaced all my lights with the Wesbar ones pictured above, work great.

I think that it only makes sense to unplug the lights when you are going to submerge them no matter what type of lights you have.
Just my 2 cents !!!
