Can anyone tell me what the correct distance between yellow clearence lights should be on the side of my trailer? (min./max. distance)....T-290

They are normally mounted 1/2 way from the tail light to the hitch point. They must be visable from the side and no less that 15" off the ground level. There is no exact distance as per DOT regulations. It is recommended that you also have yellow reflectors as close to the hitch as possible to be seen from the sides.<br /><br />Bob
