I’m currently looking for a trailer for my 24’ pontoon. I’ve come across a 22’ long scissor lift trailer. Would this be ok? I know for a bunk trailer it should be close to the same size or slightly bigger. But could i get away with this size scissor lift trailer?

how far are you moving your boat.

my buddy who lives on a lake, puts in half the boats on the lake with his scissor trailer. he has a 20 foot trailer with extended tongue, puts everything from a 14' to a 25 foot pontoon in the water.

however that is moving at most a mile between a cottage and ramp at slow speeds

if you have any appreciable distance, you will want to get a properly sized trailer.

I would be going about 100 yards. But once every year or two i would need to probably take it into the city which is an hour and a half on the highway.
