Do you have to have a special trailer for hauling a boat with twin inboards? ( shafts coming out the bottom)

Well at the risk of sounding like a smartXXX every boat needs a trailer that is somewhat special... you need a trailer that supports the boat without interfering with the props, shafts, n rudders....... Try explaining the boat in more detail and the situation of moving it IE 5 miles once, cross country, trailering on a regular basis..... Most boats that have twin inboards are pretty big and many of the trailers that are big enough for that size boat work well with them but are just yard trailers. Often big boats are transported with $$$ hydraulic trailers that are extremely adjustable on site to fit the hull

Another option if you are doing it poorboy style is to remove the props, prp shafts, struts, rudders, rdr shafts

Was just asking about it because we may end up moving the boat and no I don't want to take anything apart, the boat is a Carver 2866,

Sounds to me like a call to your local professional transport company is in order then.
