Hi all,

New here, but not as new to boating. We are in the process of buying a 2015 stingray 250 CS model, which is a move up from our smaller boat that came with trailer. The upgrade does not come with a trailer.

Can anyone recommend a brand and model of a trailer that would best tow this? We are hoping for a 27 foot trailer (so maybe magic tilt?), since the boat length is under 25 feet from anchor to swim platform?

Thanks in advance!

Physically measure the OAL, beam and get the weight from the manufacturer's catalog. Add fuel, water and stuff to get the total, then add 10%.

With the data in hand, go to the dealer you would like to buy it from and pick out the model that fits your requirements.

A 25' boat needs a 25' capacity trailer. Naturally it will measure more than 25'.

Lots of brands to chose from. I believe Stingray uses Eagle as OEM, but any of the other national brands would be good. The dealer is more important than the brand.

My personal choices would be LoadRite, Yacht Club or Karavan, but only because i have had such good luck with them.
