I have a 1992 Shorelander trailer. I believe it has a 3500 axle but the rating sticker is worn off. The axle is a spindle on top of axle with springs on top design and already has the brake flanges welded on. I am looking for a Surge brake kit and have been unsuccessful in finding one. Champion trailers told me their kit doesn't fit without new spindles and every local dealer doesn't seem to have anything either. Does anyone know where I can find a kit?? I live in Gresham, OR. Thanks for the help.

Jason

You could also try southwestwheel.com

They have electric and hydraulic (surge) brake parts for several kinds of 3500 lb axles.

Call up one of their stores and discuss it with them- they're pretty knowledgeable.
