trailer bearing help

i went to chANGE MY TRAILER BEARINGS. TH REAR BEARING IS CLOSE T TWICE THE SIZE OF THE FRONT. BUT WHEN I PULLED THE HUB THERE WAS NO REAR BEARING TO REPLACE. WITH JUST THE FRONT BEARING THE WHEEL IS SNUG AND DOES NOT HAVE PLAY?<br />ANY HELP WILL BE NICE<br /><br />THANKS

The rear bearing is hidden behind the grease seal still located on the inner side of the hub. You need to remove the seal to get at the inner bearing.

For boat trailers (not including turbo lube), <br /><br />Before you tap the NEW inner seal into the hub - MAKE SURE YOU PACK A MEDIUM AMOUNT OF GREASE INTO THE VOID BETWEEN THE INNER BEARING AND THE SEAL.<br /><br />This tip was mentioned twice in my trailer maintenance section and echoed by the marina technician.<br /><br />Regards, <br />Mike
