I cannot find my motors serial number. I have scanned a lot of the forums for locations and have checked several times. I have looked on the transom mount, starboard side, port side, top, bottom no luck. Wiped all surfaces off with a rag. Looked on the power head, found the circular flat spot, no numbers in it. It is the original motor on a 1995 Pro Deep V Tracker, I believe it is a 1994 motor because the small operation and maintenance manual points out the location the serial number should be in and starts with OD in the book. It is an ELPTO. Anybody have any suggestion on where the serial number may be. The boat was bought new by my dad and has all the original factory parts on it. I want to get a repair manual and want to make sure I get the correct one.
