CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF A TR2 LEG WILL BOLT ON MY BOAT WHICH HAS A TR3 LEG. THANKS RON

Hi spudjunior,<br /><br />Second time you've asked the question but still no replies. Well, I'm no mercruiser expert but I hate to see zero replies so hopefully this will bump it up to the top and someone with more knowledge than me will respond.<br /><br />I did a bit of googling, are you reffering to the TR & TRS drives? Couldn't find anything relating to TR2 & TR3 (apart from triumphs of course).<br /><br />Aldo

the tr2 was used in 73-76, the tr/trs was used from 77 on. if you are talking about changing outdrives out i believe it will work but if you are changing out lower units the drive shafts are not interchangable and am not sure if it will work. i've never heard of a tr3 so mabe a year and model along with a serial number will give us something to work with.
