Towing with a 2001 Toyota Sienna LE

Does any boater out there have any experience with towing a 2600 lbs. boat with a 2001 Toyota Sienna (V6 with factory installed towing package rated for 3600 lbs.) or equivalent? I am concerned that with front wheel drive, I might have problems pulling the boat out of the water or at steep boating ramps. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Diamond Dave,<br /><br />I think the best thing to do would be to make sure your rig REALLY weighs 2600#.<br /><br />Many foilks tend to grossly underestimate the weight of their rigs, ready to go.

I would be concerned with the transmision! Minivans are not known for have strong trasmisions! I know my boat weighs about 2,000# and i wouldnt tow it with a minivan! Also you are correct in the statement about the front wheel drive!<br /><br />LubeDude
