Torsion Bar axles

Has anyone replaced a regular axle with one of the torsion bar axles? Was it worth the effort? Was the ride any better for the boat?

Torsion axles are by far superior to spring axles. Each tire is independent and doesn't transfer the shock load. No toeing, far less tire wear, and towing is much easier.
