I have a brand new aluminum drive-on style trailer (never used) -- with a V type torsion axle.
The trailer mfr. drilled a hole in the bottom of the V on each alum. cross member to drain salt water & flush water.
The trailer mfr. also drilled a hole in the bottom of the V on the torsion axle, which does not seem proper to me.
I thought one of the main advantages of the torsion axle was sealing to prevent water entry into the axle tube.
Should this hole have been drilled in the axle tube ?
