torque specs and sequence

1984 evinrude 9.9,
powerhead to exhaust housing and lower unit to exhaust housing, What is the torque on these bolts? and is there a specific sequence or just clockwise? thank you

On outboards the 1/4" screws are torked to 80 INCH LBS

Even kids put these back together and don't follow many torque settings. That is the beauty of those classic bulletproof outboards. I just go til it feels right and tight. The later model plastic top carbs need tender fingers as they can crack with too much pressure applied. Same with plastic float bowl. Reliable carbs if treated right.
