Because of the Parks Canada labor walkouts my upcoming trip thru the Trent-Severn waterway is kaput. Anyone have any idea how long it would take with a cabin cruiser to go from Toronto to Georgian Bay via the Welland canal? Would a week be enough time?

I think a week should do it. I've never done it before, but I do alot of boating in the southern great lakes. depends on the weather of course. The lakes haven't co-operating much this year, seems every time I plan a trip I end up with 4 ft waves on the lakes.

Jim

The Welland is commercial shipping you might want to check if you need any sort of pilots license or other types of paper work and locking fees, I just got back from holidays in Port Severn, Lots of pi$$ed Boaters stuck at lock45 and Big Chute I cancelled my annual run to Orilla and just played in the Bay instead.
