Top Speed 170 captiva

Hey guys I got a 94 captiva 170 with 94 merc 125 on it last spring. Anyway I get about 45gps with 21p aluminum on it. Anybody running a boat similar to this and getting better top end. I am not looking for crazy speed but compared to some of my friends boats it seems I should be a little faster. Just curious as to what you rinker owners are getting. Thanks

What are your RPM's at WOT? Have you run alongside these faster boats?

My rpms are actually around 5300-5400 wot which is over the 5250. I just thought that is strange because a 21p is about the most I think the motor could handle. The boats I go out with are much different than mine, bigger boats with bigger outboards. I know this is apples to oranges just seems that my little 17footer with a 125 should do closer to 50, I may be way off and don't care about the extra speed just more curious if anyone else has this setup and what they run.
