Hey folk, I've just had the most interesting and exciting day of my fishing life.
Up at 0500hrs out on the sparkling Waitemata Harbour and a full limit of snapper all well over legal size and filled the chiller on the boat. All caught in 45 minutes!
I had dolphins dancing around, the navy were doing exercises a few kilometres away and the weather stayed flat calm.
I only wish I'd taken a camera out with me. It was one out of the bag!!
All this just after a horrible week, it was just what the doctor ordered.
Isn't it funny how things work out sometimes eh......
Ross

Ah, Yes.

It is approaching Spring in Aukland, isn't it.

Thats when our mates from OZ and NZ come out to play and most of our members go into hibernation.

Sounds like a 4.0 day, Ross. Congratulations. :)

Not live no, I think they may have been de-gaussing if thats the correct term for it. But it all looked great anyway.
Our navy live firing area is a bit further out. Navy base looked busy later when I zipped past.
Yes it's summer down here, yeaterday we had 30 degrees C and this morning - it's 0655hrs - its already about 16 degrees C! Another great day for fishing but my son has another appointment at the hospital so here we go again.......
Ross

You certainly do if you're the same Smudge that frequents the "fishing.net.nz" boards.
Welcome aboard sport, I've been on this site for a couple of years and enjoy it very much. I find the american sites go a bit quiet during their winter but they pick up nicely in their summer.
Ross
