I had two women book a trip for this morning, I had my doubts as to how it would go. Actually, it went reasonably well, they caught about 6 fish in about four hours in spite of themselves. The biggest problem was trying to make them understand what, "SET THE HOOK", ment. "Oh, I have one, no he got away, no hook set, nothing, just watch the fish bite and swimm off. Anyway, they gave me a good tip and want to go out again sometime. I never new you could get a backlash so bad with a spinning reel that I had to cut it apart and respool the reel. I mean, "WHAT THE ****"?

Last summer my girlfriend helped me set trotlines. The next morning as we pulled off seven large catfish, I recognized how lucky I was, and not because of the fish. This summer I am engaged.

When I was dating my now wife, she used to go fishing with me all the time. Now if the word fishing is mentioned with boating she will jsut stay home :(
So i've come to the conclusion that she would only go with me so she could land me in the sak ;) She got what she wanted, we have been married for 6 years now.

Some women love to fish and they're good at it. I can't imagine life without fishing but then again I've been fishing since I could walk.

I have 3 sisters and only one other than myself enjoys it like I do. In fact the other two won't even bait their own hooks, take a fish of their line or even think about cleaning a fish. Now my Mom, thats a different story. She loves to fish. :)

My wife doesn't life fishing because there are no outlet stores or a mall on the river. And I don't like shopping because there is no river in the mall our outlet stores.

My wife actually suggested that we go fishing yesterday. Could be because the last time we went out she caught 5-1 to 1 1/2 lb. trout and both of mine got off the hook. They were nice rainbows and they fought well. I'm lucky to have someone who enjoys the same things I do.

We are very blessed Tracy, my wife does that to me all the time. She regularly out fishes me also, (in numbers), Could it be that Im so busy taking fish off, changing lures and such that I dont get to fish all that much? :D Thats ok though as I would rather see her catch a fish than catch one myself. :) I can imagine my wife and Ladyfish both with a fish on in the same boat.

Hey, our Cabelas store has a stream through it, but they get very upset when I start fishing in it!
:D ;) :D ;) I don't know why they keep kicking me out - I have a current fishing license and everything!

My wife enjoys fishing, too. She doesn't go out with me all that often, but generally outfishes me when she does.

We're heading out in a couple of weeks with a guide on the St. Croix, so I can learn something about fishing that river. I fully expect here to catch the biggest fish and the most fish. She generally does.

Actually had herself Bass fishing for a couple weeks. All she would use was a Zebco 33. And darn if she didn't catch fish....just as many as me. She usually just likes to set and drowned worms. It was fun. I'll take her fishing anyday.

Re: Took two women out this morning! (Fishing).

My wife went out with our son Billy & I on sunday caught a small sunfish, thru him back in still hooked up and pulled in a 4 1/2 lb largemouth!!! She had plenty of help w/ the 6 yearold and me telling her what to do was pretty funny. let the fish go and she tried to reposition her worm on the hook it squished in her fingers and she chummed up over the side of the boat!!!!! glad it wasnt in it ...
