And the reporter never catches on...
The Station had confirmed the information with the NTSB.
I think that would have given the reporter a reasonable level of confidence.
The NTSB has actually issued an apology for the incident.
(still, by the time the reporter had read the third name, you'd think that she'd have started to wonder....in fact she probably did have a sinking feeling in her gut by the time she finished) :facepalm:
