Too early for Super Bowl predictions?

Most of the talking heads are on the Cleveland bandwagon. If there is such a thing they won the offseason before they had a single full pads on practice. That is just silly in my humble opinion. Those thousands of NFL "experts" have come just shy of predicting a Super Bowl win.

I'm going to go out on a lark and predict a New England Patriots Super Bowl win. They will beat Chicago in a close last second win.

Not going out on a limb here but it is safe to say that the Minnesota vikings will enjoy another season of futility and not win the Super Bowl.

Okay, bold prediction here ...

The team that wins the last game in February will win the Super Bowl and be crowned Champions!

How is that for a risky prediction?

Right now 1 of 32 teams have the opportunity to win it. Some will be more opportune than others. If my Bill's go to their 5th SB and win it, well 60 some odd years of cheering them on will be all worth it. I actually remember sitting in front of the old Marconi at Nani and Nono's home in North Tonawanda NY. If the Bills played and you didn't root for them, no 7 course supper that night. Later sitting in front of the black and white 12" big screen that was a circle, anyone remember them?

Let's not hope the win isn't like my dear old Uncle Chuck from Lexington KY that was a die hard Red Sox fan for his entire life. He passed sometime while watching game 1 of the ALSC the year Boston finally won the Series in what would have been the 1st in his lifetime. I just wished he had waited a few weeks so he could have lived to see them win it all. But he died doing what he loved with a bowl of Buffalo Wing bones and a few empty brown pops in front of him. I loved that man, still do. Let's just hope we live to see our team finally win it all, including the Vikes.

I find myself reminiscing more and more about the times back in the day. That didn't kick in until we lost both Mom and Dad within the last 8 months, same as my 2 younger brothers. Not just me I'm sure.
