tohatsu water stream stops after awhile

I have a 2004 tohatsu 8hp 4 stroke When it starts it streams water after a couple of minutes it gradually dies down to a couple of drop. And yes, I checked the IMPELLER it is all there and functional ... Any thoughts?

While the engine is running, insert a thin piece of wire up through the pee tube and unblock it.
